Almost 30 students gathered at the waterfront near school at 6am to try to catch the last annular solar eclipse in Hong Kong until over 600 years later. The sun was only 5 degrees from the horizon during annularity and the sky condition must be ideal for the event to be observable. In the end, the sky did not cooperate and we could only took a group photo with the sun and the moon aligned along a straight line with us ..... with the sun behind the clouds.
