We observed Mars again a few days after opposition and the view was equally spectacular. However, Jupiter almost stole the show as Io and its shadow were in transit across the stormy disk of this giant planet. Our moon was not forgotten and we enjoyed watching a few famous features near to the terminator, including Vallis Schroteri, Sinus Iridum and Schickard.
