A few students and alumni joined the observation of total lunar eclipse in Shek O despite unstable weather, and the red moon revealed itself for short periods between the clouds when transiting inside the shadow of Earth. It was a far cry from the great lunar eclipse in December 2011 but at least we didn't go home empty-handed!
