With a small group, the students were able to try to point a telescope towards Jupiter without the help of any teacher. By using a binoviewer with an 8-inch telescope, we had a front row seat to re-live the excitement of Galileo when he watched Jupiter and the satellites about 400 years ago. Galileo would be jealous!
