2017 was the year of summer solstice in the northern hemisphere of Saturn, which meant that the ring of Saturn was most prominent since about 15 years ago. Of course, we could not miss this chance to observe the majestic planet and many alumni who saw the ring edge-on in 2009 also came for a re-union. The clouds gradually evaporated away while we started our observation, but the poor seeing limited the magnification to about 300x and not much details on the globe could be discerned.
