Star-Gazing Night - Mars Opposition (28-10-2005)

This was the first star-gazing activity of the year held only a few days before Mars was closest to Earth. We used C8 and binoculars to observe various objects including Mars, M45 (The Pleiades), the Hyades, etc. We also used star maps to identify the Autumn Square, Andromeda and Taurus constellations, as well as the Summer Triangle, etc.
