The sun shone into our physics laboratory after school and we took full advantage of it. Apart from observing it with H-alpha and white light instruments, we also used the solar continuum filter for its contrasty (but strange) image and the Calcium-K module for a dim and violet experience of the solar chromosphere. All the students used the Sunspotter for the first time and it was nice for us to watch the sunspot group together and discussed what we saw.
