The overcast sky suddenly cleared when we arrived at Lantau Island to visit the biggest school observatory in Hong Kong. We observed many objects, including M31 the Andromeda Galaxy, M15 globular cluster, the big 'M' of Cassiopeia, the Taurus and its bright red giant Alderberan, the Square ofAutumn, etc. Some of us even saw a meteor. The rising M45 was undoubtedly the highlight of this memorable evening. Its stars even revealed their blue colour under the big telescope!
